Position: USA Sales Manager – Water Intakes (Power Market / Cooling Water)


Position Overview

This role is dedicated to developing and growing business within the U.S. and Canadian power generation sectors, focusing on water intake screening and cooling water applications for fossil and nuclear power plants. The position requires a technically skilled and commercially driven professional who can cultivate strong relationships with customers, engineering firms, and channel partners to drive sales and strengthen market presence.


The successful candidate will work closely with an experienced Senior Sales Consultant based in the U.S. to gain in-depth knowledge of the company’s product portfolio, market strategy, and customer base, ultimately taking responsibility for the strategic development and execution of sales efforts across the power industry.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the power generation market, focusing on water intake and cooling water screening systems.
  • Manage, support, and evaluate manufacturer representatives, agents, and distributors to optimize sales performance.
  • Engage with engineering and consulting firms to influence project specifications and ensure inclusion of the company’s solutions in upcoming tenders.
  • Work with contractors, EPCs, and system integrators to incorporate technologies into power plant design and construction projects.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the fossil and nuclear power sectors.
  • Monitor market developments, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities to inform business strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with all company quality, safety, and environmental policies.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and uphold the organization’s reputation for quality and reliability.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Deep understanding of the power generation industry, including fossil and nuclear sectors.
  • Proven experience managing manufacturer representatives and selling technical or capital equipment solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop customized technical proposals and present engineering solutions to clients and consultants.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Technical familiarity with water intake screening, filtration, and cooling water systems.
  • Approximately 50% travel required within the assigned territory, with occasional international travel for training.
  • Valid driver’s license and authorization to access nuclear and fossil power facilities.
  • Minimum of 10 years of successful technical sales experience in the power, water, or process equipment industries.
