The Role:
As the Senior Director of Sales & Marketing, you will lead the direct sales and distributor networks across DACH, Nordics & UK. Reporting to the SVP S&M EMEA and working closely with the EMEA Management Team, you will shape the region’s commercial strategy, drive business expansion, and develop long-term financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic business goals to enhance sales and market presence.
- Implement market expansion plans using data analysis, competitor insights, and due diligence.
- Lead a team of 3 Area Managers and oversee 15-18 Account Managers across the region.
- Drive sales growth across Genetics and Medical Devices by working closely with Clinics/Hospitals, embryologists, gynaecologists, obstetricians, and other specialists.
- Define pricing policies, manage key accounts, and negotiate with major customers.
- Support sales teams in meetings, calls, workshops, and industry events.
- Collaborate with marketing and clinical support teams to execute targeted marketing initiatives.
- Provide quarterly sales forecasts and contribute to Annual Operating Plans
Who We’re Looking For:
- Experienced leader with 5-10+ years in sales leadership positions within Medical Devices, Genetics, or Diagnostic services.
- Strong background in managing direct and distributor sales models in DACH, and also experience in Nordics/UK preferred.
- Proven ability to analyse markets, identify opportunities, and drive business growth.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Fluent in English and German (both written and spoken).
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Must be based in the DACH region with extensive travel required.
