Description

The DACH Area Sales Account, reporting to the Sales & Marketing Director and to the Asset Trading Manager, will be responsible for maintaining and developing client relationships within the geographic area to drive sales and revenue growth. He/she will identify new business opportunities, achieve sales targets, and provide customer support, while also monitoring market trends and competitors’ activity.

About the Role: The DACH Area Sales Account will play a crucial role in driving sales and revenue growth by developing and maintaining client relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory, including prospecting, lead generation, and closing deals.
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and objectives, contributing to overall company revenue goals.
  • Understand and address customer needs, providing product demonstrations, training, and support to ensure satisfaction.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify potential opportunities and challenges.
  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports, maintain accurate records of customer interactions, and manage sales pipeline using CRM systems.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and address any issues or concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Languages: German native, fluent English, additional languages (Italian) appreciated
  • Studies: High School / University Degree in Chemistry or Engineering
  • Working experience: At least 5 years in sales and/or technical areas (Paints, Inks and Plastics)
