Description

Mackinnon Bruce is working exclusively with a growing, EMEA-based Microphysiolgical Systems manufacturer who are developing innovative Organ-on-Chip models to set the new standard for drug discovery and make it possible to better predict the drug response in the human body.

We are new looking for a Senior Sales/Business Development Executive to join the team in Switzerland and work closely with senior leadership to help grow both the local and global revenue pipeline. You will be focusing on selling the full product portfolio and driving revenue growth through developing strong relationships with both current clients and new accounts. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use your background in Life Science Sales and Business Development to drive all commercial activities and growth.
  • Review, develop, and implement sales strategies to expand the company's presence both locally and globally.
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers and scientific professionals to both grow accounts and convert leads into new business.
  • Work cross-functionally with all teams to oversee sales and operational and commercial administrative tasks.
  • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive sales strategies, including commercial deals and plans.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure consistent sales growth and development.
  • Oversee the sales pipeline, forecasts, and calendar management, while ensuring customer renewals are handled efficiently.
  • Identify new business opportunities, negotiate contracts, and successfully close sales deals.
  • Define, track, analyse, and report sales and Business Development KPIs/metrics to the management team.

Skills & Experience

  • 5 years of sales and business development experience in the life science field selling into Pharma and Biotech companies.
  • A knowledge and background in In-vitro models, toxicology, and efficacy testing
  • A proven history of revenue/territory growth with knowledge of effective sales pipeline building
  • Experience building up and implementing new sales and business development strategies
  • Strong negotiation skills and excellent networker across all levels of customer organisation.
  • Technically adept, stress-resistant, motivated by challenging cases, and solution-oriented.
  • Outstanding team player with a proactive, independent, and well-organised approach.
  • Excellent English skills, preferentially fluent in German (every additional language is a plus).
