The Role:
You have a degree in engineering, business, land planning, or urban development (Bachelor’s or master’s level) and at least three years of proven experience in ground-based photovoltaic project development. Your personal qualities are just as important as your educational background. Your entrepreneurial spirit and enthusiasm for fieldwork give purpose to your daily actions.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong belief in the importance of the energy transition are essential for this role. You are curious, autonomous, rigorous, and a team player.
Job Description:
As the driving force and coordinator of your projects, you will oversee or directly handle all activities needed to secure the permits for constructing a photovoltaic plant or wind farm. You will manage your projects in the long term and maintain close relationships with the communities you work in.
Based in Dijon and reporting to the Grand-Est Branch Manager, you will collaborate with other Project Managers. Your responsibilities will focus on three main areas:
- Identify and Develop Projects
- Research and secure potential new sites
- Meet with and gain the consent of landowners
- Centralise and harmonise studies
- Design the technical layout of projects
- Ensure smooth permit processing
- Organise and Lead
- Lead a project team
- Schedule work with engineering offices
- Adhere to the timeline and mobilise internal expertise
- Oversee the preparation of environmental authorsation or building permit applications
- Communicate and Engage
- Plan and organise communication and engagement with project stakeholders
- Liaise with administrations and officials to favorably position projects
- This is a full-time, permanent position with frequent travel required.
