The Role
As a Junior Researcher, you will be part of the Research team in Manchester for the Chemicals and Consumer Goods Division. Within this role, you will collaborate with recruitment consultants on key vacancies within the industry.
Day-to-day you will complete tasks such as: utilising key search functions to find relevant talent following a tailored brief from a consultant; engage with candidates globally; organise calls across multiple time zones and maintain a good rapport with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
The support from the Research Team allows the recruitment consultants to be outward-facing and deliver on key assignments for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Research and identify suitable candidates within the industry for ongoing retained and contingent searches.
- Utilise key search functions, such as LinkedIn Recruiter to identify talent, relevant to the industry that you are working in.
- Work alongside senior members of the team on key market mapping and talent pipeline projects for our clients.
- Manage and co-ordinate the diaries of the consultants the role is supporting which may vary depending on client workload. This mainly involves the booking and scheduling of candidates for interviews into the consultant’s diary. With candidates located globally the role will need to be able to organise efficiently over several time zones.
- Lead outreach to new potential candidates through targeted email campaigns, social media, and networks.
- Networking in industry, sector, and specialism to become an expert in your market.
- Candidate engagement - identify and attract potential candidates.
- Work as an integral member of the research and wider team, motivating one another and communicating effectively.
- Build the presence of the team on LinkedIn. Through sharing market relevant content, partnering with consultants and pushing presence on social media platforms.
- Think outside of the day-to-day tasks set and find new candidates through your own network and where possible find business opportunities for the consultants.
Requirements
- A proven track record or a solid interest in working in a Research and back-office function within a fast-paced and competitive sales environment.
- Excellent communication and listening skillls whilst being able to articulate ideas in a concise way. Confidence in dealing with people on all levels with a professional and friendly manner.
