Are you a seasoned formulator with a passion for motorsport performance at the highest level?
We're currently partnering with a leading name in automotive innovation as part of a globally recognized energy and chemicals group to identify a Formula 1 Driveline Formulator to join their elite R&D team in the Netherlands.
This is a unique opportunity to take the lead in developing cutting-edge driveline and specialty fluids tailored specifically for the intense demands of Formula 1 and other high-performance motorsport applications. The role involves hands-on formulation from the ground up with no commercial additive packages, delivering innovation that directly impacts podium finishes.
The Right Person Will:
- Bring deep experience in motorsport lubricant formulation, ideally within F1 or elite racing series
- Have a strong foundation in chemistry, tribology, and fluid dynamics
- Be comfortable working closely with race teams, engineers, and suppliers
- Possess a passion for pushing the limits of performance, durability, and innovation
You’ll also lead technical research, direct lab testing, evaluate specialty fluids from external partners, and act as a technical interface to racing teams and OEMs.
What We’re Looking For:
- Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering (Advanced preferred)
- 10+ years’ lab experience with 5-7 in high-performance racing fluids
- Deep knowledge of F1 driveline hardware and transmission systems
- A track record of IP generation and fluid technology leadership
