With a growing European portfolio, the company delivers end-to-end renewable solutions from design and manufacturing through to construction and operation, and is expanding its engineering capability to support ambitious growth plans.
The Role
As Installations Lead, you’ll take ownership of defining and executing installation strategies across utility-scale wind projects throughout Europe. You’ll collaborate closely with solutions, procurement, and technical teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, safely, and in full compliance with engineering and quality standards. This position is pivotal in driving project excellence and ensuring the company remains competitive in the European wind market.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare comprehensive proposals for sales projects, covering execution strategy, logistics, installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Assess and manage transportation routes, tower solutions (including hybrid configurations), and tender documentation.
• Conduct market analysis and cost benchmarking to maintain project competitiveness.
• Collaborate with procurement to optimise supplier relationships and ensure favourable technical and contractual terms.
• Develop crane, installation, and logistics solutions in partnership with the technical team to achieve cost efficiencies.
• Support contract negotiation, closure, and seamless project handover to the delivery team.
• Drive risk management and cost-saving initiatives to support long-term operational improvement.
Requirements
• Degree in engineering or related technical field.
• At least 10 years’ experience in project or proposal management within the wind energy industry.
• Strong knowledge of wind farm sales, logistics, transport, or crane operations.
• Excellent IT proficiency, including MS Office and SharePoint.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
• Driven, detail-oriented, and confident in challenging established practices to raise standards.
